Dawkinsia assimilis — Assimilis Barb

Assimilis Barb (Dawkinsia assimilis) is an active schooling fish from the fast-moving rivers of the Western Ghats in India, featuring a streamlined silver body with a reddish-orange caudal fin and a small dark spot near the tail. They are energetic, mid-water swimmers that appreciate good water flow and plenty of open swimming space. Their striking fin coloration becomes especially vivid in well-maintained aquariums.
