The Balloon Molly is a selectively bred variant of Poecilia latipinna with a distinctively rounded, compressed body and marbled gold-black patterning. It is a hardy livebearer that tolerates a wide range of water conditions, including slightly brackish setups. Peaceful and easy to keep, it is popular in community tanks and beginner setups.
