Barbus fasciolatus — Banded Barb

The African Banded Barb is a slender, attractively marked fish from Angola and surrounding regions, displaying multiple dark vertical bands on a golden-olive body. It is a lively, schooling species that can be mildly fin-nipping with slow-finned tankmates. It prefers soft to moderately hard water with good water movement.
