Chacophrys pierottii — Bojon Horned Frog
The Bojon Horned Frog (Chacophrys pierottii) is a closely related species to Ceratophrys frogs, native to the Gran Chaco region of South America, and shares the characteristic wide mouth and rotund body of its relatives. It tends to be somewhat smaller and slightly less aggressive than common horned frogs, with a mottled olive-brown coloration providing excellent camouflage. It requires a humid terrestrial setup with a shallow soaking dish.
