Ancistrus macrophalmus (LDA74) — Deep Blue Flathead Bristlenose Pleco (LDA74)
A distinctive wild-collected bristlenose pleco from South America, notable for its unusually flattened broad head and deep blue-black coloration. Males develop the characteristic bushy tentacles on their snout. It grazes on algae and biofilm and benefits from driftwood in its diet. More demanding than the common bristlenose, preferring warmer, slightly soft water.
