Hyphessobrycon amandae — Ember Tetra

The Ember Tetra is a tiny jewel of a fish from the Araguaia River basin in Brazil. Its warm orange-red coloration glows beautifully in planted tanks, especially against a dark substrate. Despite its small size, it is surprisingly hardy and makes an ideal resident for nano and planted aquariums. Best kept in schools of 8 or more.
