A captive-bred golden color variant of the beloved shell-dwelling cichlid from Lake Tanganyika. Despite its small size, this species displays remarkable intelligence and bold personality, fiercely defending its chosen shell home. Best kept as a pair or small harem in a sandy tank with several empty shells.
