Pseudacanthicus sp. — Grey Wolf Cactus Pleco
Pseudacanthicus species are medium to large suckermouth catfishes from the Amazon and Orinoco basins, characterized by their spiny armored bodies and carnivorous tendencies compared to most plecos. They inhabit fast-flowing rivers and require high oxygenation and strong water movement in captivity. Adults can be aggressive toward conspecifics and similarly shaped fish, so housing must provide ample territory.
