Poecilia reticulata — Guppy
The Guppy is one of the world's most popular freshwater fish, beloved for its hardiness, prolific breeding, and dazzling array of tail patterns and colors. Males are smaller but far more colorful than females. Native to northeastern South America, guppies have been introduced worldwide for mosquito control. They are livebearers, giving birth to free-swimming fry every 4-6 weeks.
