Melanotaenia praecox — Neon Rainbow

Melanotaenia praecox, the Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish, is a small and dazzling rainbowfish from the Mamberamo River in New Guinea, with males showing an electric blue body and vivid red-orange fins. Despite its small size, it is hardy and adaptable, making it a popular choice for planted community tanks. Females are more subdued in color but still display attractive yellowish-green hues.
