Hypancistrus furunculus — Panda Pleco

The Panda Pleco (Hypancistrus furunculus) is a small, eye-catching catfish from the Orinoco River drainage, displaying a high-contrast black and white pattern reminiscent of a panda bear. It prefers warm, well-oxygenated water with plenty of hiding spots in the form of caves and crevices. Like most Hypancistrus, it leans toward meatier foods rather than heavy algae grazing.
