Carinotetraodon travancoricus — Pea Pufferfish
Pea Pufferfish are the world's smallest pufferfish species, native to the slow-moving rivers and backwaters of Kerala, India, with a round, chubby body patterned in golden-yellow with irregular dark spots. Despite their tiny size (under 2.5 cm), they are intelligent, curious, and highly predatory, excelling at hunting snails and small invertebrates. They should be kept in species-only or very carefully chosen community tanks as they will nip fins of slower fish.
