Apistogramma hongsloi — Queen Dwarf Cichlid

Apistogramma hongsloi is a strikingly colorful dwarf cichlid from Colombia's Llanos region, with males displaying brilliant orange, yellow, and blue hues across an elongated body. Males develop extended dorsal fins and intense coloration when in breeding condition. They inhabit slow-moving, blackwater streams and do best in soft, acidic water with dense planting.
