Stiphodon ornatus — Rainbow Goby
Rainbow Goby (Stiphodon ornatus) are spectacular freshwater gobies from fast-flowing streams of the Pacific islands and Southeast Asia, with males displaying stunning iridescent blue, green, and orange coloration. They are adapted to life in high-current, highly oxygenated streams and graze on biofilm and algae from rock surfaces. Due to their amphidromous life cycle, wild-caught specimens can be sensitive during acclimatization.
