The Red Diamond Hillstream Loach is a striking torrent-dwelling fish from Borneo streams, featuring a flattened body adorned with vivid red-orange diamond markings on a dark background. It uses a modified ventral sucker to cling to rocks in fast-flowing, highly oxygenated water. A peaceful species that grazes constantly on algae and biofilm, making it an excellent addition to hillstream biotope setups.
