Crossocheilus siamensis — Siamese Flying Fox
The Siamese Flying Fox is a slender, active algae-eater recognizable by its bold black horizontal stripe running from snout to tail tip on a silver-gold body. It inhabits fast-moving streams in Southeast Asia and is one of the few fish that effectively grazes on brush algae and black beard algae. Generally peaceful with other species, though adults can become territorial with their own kind.
