Garra flavatra — Tiger Panda Loach

The Tiger Panda Loach (Garra flavatra) is a small, beautifully marked hillstream-type cyprinid from Myanmar, sporting alternating black and cream or yellow bands that give it a panda-like appearance. It is a social, bottom-dwelling algae grazer adapted to fast-flowing, highly oxygenated streams. It thrives in groups and does best in tanks with strong flow and smooth rocks.
